Those who know me well know that I do extensive preparation, and engage numerous residents, for all matters before the City. It's vital to represent the diversity of opinion within our City in the

decision-making process. You will find me regularly volunteering at the City table at community functions such as Farm Fest and Summerfest. I led the development and deployment of the City Email blast to keep residents in the loop on what is happening at the City level. I remain committed to understanding & representing all of the residents of North Oaks.

Land use is a critical topic for our City. Working on the 2040 Comprehensive Plan as both a Planning Commissioner and City Council member gave me significant experience in these areas. I have participated in long-term strategic planning sessions to ensure infrastructure maintenance and development are sustainable, environmentally sound, and fiscally prudent. Over the coming years these issues, particularly related to water & sewer, will be coming before the Council. I will tirelessly fight to keep North Oaks independent of outside influence on our land use and zoning. 

Safety, security, and privacy are top priorities for North Oaks residents. As a private community, we have unique needs that often require innovative solutions. Throughout the years, your feedback has enabled our City to maintain and improve public safety with the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office and the Lake Johanna

Fire Department. Despite challenging circumstances, I have always strongly advocated for what is best for North Oaks residents' safety and financial security. Just recently this summer, I advocated for more robust enforcement of speeding on our roads. As the Vice President of the Lake Johanna Fire Board, I worked with our partner cities Shoreview and Arden Hills to ensure that our relationship with the Lake Johanna Fire Department remained the most beneficial to residents. 

Throughout my entire life, I've had a deep respect for and love of nature. Living in North Oaks we must be environmental stewards, preserving what truly is unique and beautiful for generations to come. I've proudly served on the Natural Resources Committee as well as on the Vadnais Lakes Area Watershed Management Organization - VLAWMO - Tech Commission. One of the restoration projects during my service time was the Wilkinson Lake Deep Water Wetland project. This effort helped improve water quality in Wilkinson Lake. Winter buckthorn removal was also done in that project area to facilitate native plant establishment. This project required extensive collaboration across numerous entities to protect and maintain our natural resources.
